Day 2 of Ramadhan: Building a Good Habit

You see, it is difficult for me to start a habit. A lot of my planned good habit ended up as failure. Exercising daily: failed. Doing zikr at dawn and dusk: failed. Either I'm too lazy or a master of procrastinate. I guess the first one suits me better. Lol.

As Ramadhan come, I want to get fully rewarded. Not only by fasting. There is more activities (or ibadah?) to add. Recite Qur'an, memories it, and of couse learn it.

Thanks to things called internet, there is a loootsssa of platform provides online course FOR FREE. Who doesn't love free stuff anyway?

This is a good side of #StayAtHome campaign. Everyone shifted online. Just yesterday I opened my instagram account and found 2-3 accounts doing live streaming. At. The. Same. Time. Now you want to split your body, don't you?

Unfortunately I have my internet quota limited. So I only joined 1 live streaming. They talked 'bout syariah finance! An interesting topic indeed. They remind me again the concept of Islam Rahmatan Lil 'Alamin. Islam is the way of life. Everything has been regulated on Qur'an. We are the one who need to learn it BETTER.

Beside, I found a podcast you can listen everyday. Yes you read it right.

First you have to download an app called "Inspigo". An acronym for Inspiration on The Go. Ear catching, huh? I've had it installed for almost half a year. And I loved it so far. Their contents are various. Spiritual, leadership, entertainment, entreprenurship, book talk, even kids story time!

This Ramadhan they have Samsak = Sahur Imsak. A talk with 2 Ustadh about Islam. 1st day theme was about fasting. Trust me guys, their explanation suits me well. They talked like friend. Doesn't sound too old (?) to listen. And they uses logical explanation common people like me definitely understand.

2nd day topic was about fasting in this pandemic situation. The airtime took at suhoor. But don't worry. You can play it again anytime.

One thing I advice you to: take a note. It helps to more understanding rather than just listening it. Well, it's not a problem tho if listening is the only one you want.

Hope you find it useful. As always, I try to end it with a verse. This one is from Al-'Ankabut (29) verse 7.

And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.”
